Patricia Elmer, Investment Manager

Tricia has over 30 years of investment experience. She began her investment career in New York in 1984 with Merrill Lynch and later Lehman Brothers. In 1992-1994 she worked as an equity analyst for Dain Bosworth, focusing on emerging growth companies. In 1994 she became a senior portfolio manager and wealth advisor at Bank of America before becoming the head portfolio manager at Northern Trust in Seattle in 1999.  In 2002, Tricia was hired by Washington Capital Management to co-manage the Small Cap Growth fund. During her tenure that fund grew from $80 million to over $1 billion under management. In 2007 this fund was the #1 performing small cap growth fund in the United States as measured by Pension & Investment magazine.

She formed Pacific Horizon Investment Management, LLC in 2001 to manage the investments of family and close friends. She retired from Washington Capital Management in 2010 in order to provide personalized investment management for a growing number of individuals and families. She has been a quoted financial expert in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Forbes Magazine, a prior regular contributor to the KIRO Money Minute, and a panelist for the MoneyShow®. As founder of Pacific Horizon Investment Management, a Licensed Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) with the State of Washington, Tricia is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), an affiliate member of CFA Institute, Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA®), Friends of King County Collaborative Law (KCCL®), and Board of Trustees and Finance Committee of Norwich University.  Her education includes a Master's Degree in Finance from New York University and a BA from the University of Washington.

William G. Robbins, Principal

Will combines financial planning and wealth management experience to deliver broad-based wealth advisory services to our clients. Helping individuals and families with sound investment, retirement, and wealth preservation strategies is one of the principal reasons he became an investment advisor and financial planner. With an avid interest in personal finance, he helps our clients in building balanced, diversified, and tax efficient portfolios to achieve their long-term financial goals. Focusing on delivering the right client experience based on each client’s unique objectives and risk tolerance, his attention to detail translates into a personalized service and is part of the reason why he’s built such meaningful relationships with so many of our clients. In his role, he is involved in servicing both existing and prospective clients and acts as a liaison with our custodian in performance reporting and maintaining accounts.

Will is also a Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA®), passionate about educating clients on the nuances of Social Security benefits and the critical role it plays in their overall retirement goals. By providing guidance in the often complex claiming strategies, Will specializes in helping individuals and families understand the benefits for which they may be eligible, how important variables interact, and ultimately selecting the most optimal claiming strategy.

With a unique perspective and valuable experience, Will honed his capabilities over the course of more than a decade in private equity and wealth management. Prior, he acted as an associate for several private equity funds of Pacific Horizon Ventures, LLC. Will earned a B.A. degree from the Catholic University of America and holds a FINRA Series 65 securities license.
